As a Café Server, it will be your responsibility to tailor the Café experience to each guest, providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner to achieve a superior level of guest satisfaction.

Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, the Hilton Milwaukee is Milwaukee’s largest hotel. Built in 1927 as the Schroeder Hotel, the Hilton Milwaukee offers 729 well-appointed guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space. • Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
• Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
• Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
• Maintain self‑banking procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred.
• Innate desire to serve and ability to maintain service and departmental standards.
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items.
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication.
• Recall and promote menu items.
• Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform.
