Job Summary
Part‑time, event‑based, union position. $23.00/hr.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Service
- Completes steps of service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Understands and describes menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
- Establishes rapport with guests/members
- Uses suggestive and upselling techniques
- Exceeds guest expectations
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines
- Acts with urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
- Delivers properly prepared beverages in a timely manner
- Responds to guest needs and requests
Controls
- Maintains service areas
- Follows cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
- Accurately uses POS system
- Employs safety and sanitation practices
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies
- Practices proper product control and inventory handling
- Follows Core Levy beverage recipes and specifications
- Completes station set‑up and breakdown responsibilities
- Communicates guest issues to management
- Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines
Team
- Displays positive attitude toward teammates and managers
- Helps fellow team members when necessary
- Always on time and ready to perform duties
Job Requirements
- 2‑3 years bartending experience in high‑volume setting preferred
- Lifts and transports up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
- Walks and stands during entire shift
- English reading, writing, and math skills required
- Possible job hazards: slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts, strains
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess required certifications
- Communicates effectively in English with managers, guests and teammates
