The opportunity
Delaware North Sport service is hiring seasonal Catering Servers to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Banquet Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting. What will you do?- Sets up tables for functionin accordance withbanquetevent order.
- Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to the scheduled locations.
- Sets buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to pre-established standards.
- Assists with food and table prep before events begin.
- Returns unserved foods and beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the Commissary.
- Serves food neatly and attractively according to pre-established standards.
- Checks to ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively according to pre-established standards.
- Cleans up the venue after the event ends andassistswith inventory, food storage, and other closeout tasks.
- Performs necessary tasks to service guests including taking and filling drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, andclearing ofdirty dishes.
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, and requests identification adheres to all unit andcompanyalcohol service policies and procedures.
- Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handles any guest complaints.
- Replenishes food on buffet lines (if applicable).
- Maintains a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates.
- Breaks down events according to company procedures.
- Must be 18years of ageor older
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including listening skills
- Must have open availability, including day time availability.
- Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
