FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (PART TIME) – TouchPoint Support Services

, 5000 West Chamber Street, Milwaukee, WI 53210.

Schedule:

Part‑time, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday‑Friday; every third weekend and rotating holidays. Details discussed during interview.

Pay: $16.25 – $16.50 per hour

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work while maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

• Prepare food (wash, peel, cut, seed fruits and vegetables). Weigh and measure ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, trays, and supplies between workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store foods following wrapping, dating, and food‑safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, serving temperature, and portion control.
• Serve customers efficiently and friendly, following steps of service.
• Resolve customer complaints in a friendly service‑oriented manner.
• Relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Perform sales transactions, and record sales accurately in the cash register.
• Make change, accept payment cards and other payment forms.
• Issue receipts and issue cash refunds following standard procedures.
• Manage change funds and cash drawer in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
