Water Treatment Sales Manager

Our client is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow its residential and light commercial water treatment business. You can work remotely, but you must live in Wisconsin or very close to the state and be able to visit the Reedsburg headquarters regularly. The role also requires 30%–50% travel for customer meetings and trade shows.

The $120,000 base salary is supplemented by commission. The company projects $20,000–$40,000 in first-year commission for someone performing as expected.

• Develop new business with OEMs, distributors, dealers, plumbing customers, and private-label partners.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting and product testing through proposals, negotiation, and closing.
• Help customers select and apply water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis equipment, valves, tanks, and media.
• Grow existing accounts and bring customer needs to engineering, product, operations, and quality teams.
• Maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline and forecast.

• Substantial sales experience in residential or light commercial water treatment equipment, including water chemistry, applications, and equipment sizing.
• A record of winning new business and managing customer relationships through the full sales cycle.
• Working knowledge of water softeners, filtration, reverse osmosis, control valves, tanks, and media.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM and AI productivity tools.
• Ability to travel 30%–50% and visit the Reedsburg headquarters regularly.
