Over the course of the program, participants receive instructor-led intensive training, hands-on customer experience and mentorship to build technical expertise and sales acumen, preparing them for impactful sales roles within our organization. This program is designed to prepare candidates for product channel sales across seven different Johnson Controls’ business units with a single cohort, summer hiring cadence. In thi s particular role, you will be supporting Johnson Controls’ Controls business unit .

We make everything from highly programmable building automation systems (BAS) that drive reduced HVAC energy and effective operational outcomes to highly programmable automation systems for entire facilities and campuses. Building occupants are comfortable and safe through simple, configurable controls for specific kinds of equipment. Through our PENN portfolio, w e also provide leading commercial refrigeration solutions for temperature, pressure, humidity and air flow controls.

During the first six months of the program, the entire ACE cohort will be based out of Milwaukee WI working at Johnson Controls’ HQ office in the n orthwest suburb of Glendale WI. At the end of month s ix, you will be required to relocate to a predetermined assigned location where upon program graduation you will transition to an outside or field sales role covering speci fic accounts in your territory .

Southern CA or Phoenix AZ – Wholesale channel Southern CA or Phoenix AZ – Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) channel How will you do it Com plete all required A CE f oundati onal sales training Attend frequent training sessions to build deep Controls product knowledge, industry/market awareness and sales process expertise Provide technical and commercial aid to Controls outside s ales personnel (called Channel Account Managers) and accounts Complete inside sales rotation for lead/ case management, CRM pipeline management and account updating hygiene Establish monthly cadence with Channel Account Managers (CAMs) and Channel Sales Managers for development progress and business reviews participation Create, analyze and customize sales reports and dashboards using PowerBI Promote our Solution Navigator self-ordering customer portal and report feedback Strengthen inter nal cross
