The Millwright will perform mechanical inspections, repair support machinery equipment, install and dismantle machinery, move machinery, equipment, and materials in a precise and consistent manner according to SOP's, blueprints, and schematics.

• Receive work assignments and sketches or drawings if needed; examine work to be completed and plan work procedure, obtaining necessary tools and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs or modifications to facilities, equipment and buildings, along with other tasks as required.
• Fabricate miscellaneous braces, brackets, and guards.
• Determine how best to move machine and/or equipment taking weight, size, surroundings, etc. into consideration.
• Clear pathways, dismantle and mark parts or sections of machine/equipment to facilitate reassembling as required.
• Construct braces, table, or spreader bars to keep from damaging machine/equipment during move.
• Use overhead cranes, tractor rollers, bars, etc.; determine need for additional team lift as required.
• Install motors or power transmission equipment such as shafts, belts, pulleys. Set up ladders or erect scaffolding as needed.
• Lays out floor repair; break up concrete and/or dig out as required for resurfacing, walkway and production floor; erect and install guards; patch roofs.
• Perform miscellaneous facilities painting and touch‑ups.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform all assignments in a safe and timely manner.

• Millwright Journeyman certificate or 10 years equivalent Millwright experience
• Valid state‑issued Driver’s License
• Completion of training requirements:
  Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Out, Fall Protection, Forklift, Aerial Lift

• Cab or floor‑operated overhead crane or hoist; truck‑operated crane; tractor; forklift; scissor and boom lift; pickup truck.
• Millwright tools and equipment such as: oxyacetylene torch, AC and DC welding machine and equipment; miscellaneous masonry, metalworking and woodworking equipment.

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $38.82 – $40.41. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
