• Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
• Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
• Respond to, troubleshoot, and complete repairs to maintain system functionality; report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material.
• Identify code and non‑conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards.
• Quote small repair jobs and provide detailed parts and labor requirements to estimators and sales for large repair projects.
• Plan work with mentor, Lead Technicians, and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Must be able and willing to differentiate types/colors of wire, use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet, and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 2 within 12 months.
• Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or state‑recognized GED;
  Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in the installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
