Field Service Technician – Milwaukee

Actively searching for a Field Service Technician  Milwaukee/Heartland, Wisconsin to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and specialty equipment. Work primarily in customer facilities and warehouses with occasional shop-based tasks. Role involves identifying service opportunities during PM visits, managing customer relationships, and ensuring equipment reliability. Technicians take service vans home and work independently in the field with support from management and dispatch.

Requirements:

Must-haves: 2+ years experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment service Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (no DUIs) Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment systems Basic mechanic tools (½-inch drive minimum, ideally ¾-inch drive sockets, multimeter) Ability to pass employer qualification screening

Nice-to-haves:
Forklift or material handling equipment experience

Experience with complex diagnostic situations Willingness to mentor less experienced technicians Certification in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics

Compensation & Benefits:

Hours:
