Cable Technician- Milwaukee

Description

The client is seeking a motivated Cable Technician to support structured cabling, low-voltage, and technology installation projects across commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cabling while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. Install, route, label, and support CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling. Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling systems.

Install telecommunications equipment, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and cable pathways. Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and construction drawings. Support technology deployments including monitors, phones, cameras, speakers, and related peripherals. Troubleshoot connectivity, cabling, and hardware issues. Maintain accurate installation documentation and provide project updates. Ensure all work meets customer specifications, industry standards, and Miller Electric quality expectations. Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.

Travel to customer locations as required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
