Industrial Facilities Mechanic — HVAC​/Electrical

We’re seeking an Industrial Facilities Mechanic who thrives on variety, precision, and ownership. This is a full-time, on-site role in Mequon, WI (five days per week), reporting to the Facilities Supervisor. Your work keeps our building structure, equipment, and grounds in top condition for 1,000+ employees.

What you’ll doFix plumbing issues: faucets, valves, pipes, appliances, drain/waste stoppages, and custom machine plumbing.

Resolve electrical needs for lighting, production machines, and building equipment; leverage a Fluke meter for diagnostics.

Complete carpentry repairs for fixtures, doors, partitions/walls, and furniture.

Perform mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production equipment and building mechanicals.

Tackle diverse minor fixes with hand and power tools.

Read prints and mechanical drawings to support layouts and expansions.

Operate aerial lifts and industrial fork trucks.

Use Word, Excel, SAP, and Maintain software to manage PMs and work orders.

Participate in on-call support outside standard hours as needed.

Adhere to health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements (state/federal, ISO, and company policies).Own your commitments—meet deadlines and respond quickly to customers.

Work independently with limited supervision.

Must-haves

High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of relevant experience.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Nice-to-haves4+ years in facilities maintenance or a closely related trade.

Experience leading capital work and special repairs (paving, roofing, flooring).Ability to coordinate service vendors (janitorial, landscaping, snow removal).Background working with outside contractors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roofing.

Office renovation know-how: disassemble/move/reassemble cubicles and furniture.

Stick and wire welding for repairs and custom fabrication.

Install/maintain compressed air lines, including sweating/soldering copper.

Deep knowledge of fasteners (English/metric), wrenches, sockets, and related tools.

Business awareness with a knack for recommending improvements.

Familiarity with company standards (Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection), ISO 9000 & 14000, and applicable regulations.
