Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist

As a Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring the seamless operation of complex production systems through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting. Your expertise in both mechanical systems and electrical controls will directly impact plant efficiency, equipment longevity, and overall operational uptime.

• Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to maximize the reliability of production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve complex malfunctions in PLCs, VFDs, servos, and robotic systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform precision mechanical repairs, including the alignment of spindles, shafts, and bearings to maintain optimal equipment performance.
• Manage the installation, relocation, and calibration of production assets, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and technical documentation to support data-driven decision-making and compliance.
• Collaborate on facility-wide maintenance projects, including plumbing and structural repairs, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent professional certification.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in reading technical manuals, machine prints, and schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot high-voltage systems and automated machinery.
• Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.

• Prior experience maintaining processing or packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
• Practical knowledge of welding, plumbing, and precision measuring tools.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with limited standardized procedures.
