Overview

Invest Cloud (formerly Advicent) is seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer II to join our team. You will deliver and support our web-based financial planning applications using technologies such as C#/.Net Core, C++, and Java. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a passion for learning and teamwork.

This position offers the option to work remotely from anywhere or from our Milwaukee, WI office.

What you're accountable for
  • Technical Skills: C#, C++, Java, JavaScript/Type Script – Focused on business logic development, building calculation and workflow functionality for our SPA experiences. We are transitioning to .Net Core, with some core elements in C++ and Java. We can train and adapt to your background.

  • Problem-solving mindset: Turning ideas into reality through prototyping, analysis, implementation, review, verification, and deployment. Experience with financial services or Dev Ops is a plus!

  • Getting things done: Working in an agile environment with two-week sprints, delivering work to live environment every sprint, and contributing to team commitments.

  • Financial services experience is a plus
