Job Title: Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with Vaadin

Location: Milwaukee, WI (first preference) or remote

Type: Full Time

Salary: $130K-$140K+ benefits

We are looking for a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with strong experience in building enterprise‑grade applications and UI development using Vaadin. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable microservices and rich web interfaces for industrial or enterprise solutions, with potential exposure to Rockwell UI frameworks.

• Design and develop Spring Boot microservices with RESTful APIs and secure integrations.
• Build responsive, interactive UIs/forms using Vaadin and integrate with backend services.
• Collaborate with product owners and UX teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments.
• Ensure compliance with industrial standards and integration with OT/IT systems (future scope).

• Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot expertise (Web Flux/MVC, Security, Data/JPA).
• Strong experience with Vaadin framework for UI development.
• REST API design and integration; JSON/XML handling.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, event‑driven systems, and message brokers (Kafka/Rabbit
  
  MQ).
• Experience with RDBMS (Postgre
  
  SQL/MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops).
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices (OAuth2/OIDC, TLS).

• Exposure to Rockwell UI frameworks (Factory Talk Optix, View SE/ME) or industrial HMI/SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of Vaadin Flow, Vaadin Fusion, and custom component development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with ISA‑95 or industrial integration patterns.
