Brooksource is looking for an iOS Engineer to join our Fortune 500 financial services client's Mobile Engineering team. This is a 100% remote, short-term contract through the end of the year, supporting a team of iOS and Android engineers across multiple mobile experiences.

The team supports account, document, and planning experiences across insurance and investment products, with several initiatives prioritized over the next few months. You’ll join an existing mobile engineering team and contribute hands-on to feature development, helping support key initiatives and deadlines across the team’s product areas.

The team is looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed in an existing codebase, independently research and troubleshoot, and begin contributing to production work.

• 2-3+ years of professional iOS development experience with strong Swift proficiency.
• Experience developing native iOS applications using SwiftUI and/or UIKit.
• Ability to quickly ramp up in an existing codebase and contribute to active feature development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently research and work through technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with iOS and Android engineers, product teams, and web teams.

• Design, build, and maintain native iOS features using Swift across account, document, and planning experiences supporting insurance and investment products.
• Quickly learn and navigate an existing iOS codebase and begin contributing production code.
• Support multiple feature initiatives based on team priorities and project deadlines.
• Independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate closely with other iOS and Android engineers, product teams, and web teams to support feature delivery.
• Contribute to initiatives such as document and secure sharing experiences, planning workflows, and other prioritized mobile features.
• Write clean, maintainable Swift code following modern iOS development practices.
