Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts (Milwaukee, WI)
Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts. The Delivery Specialist maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Essential Job Functions- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Use delivery fleet‑management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Maintain vehicles clean, performed daily inspections, and keep delivery equipment and funds secure at all times.
- Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips.
- Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock vehicles after business hours.
- Clock in/out per company policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
- Occasionally assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising tasks when business demands.
- Quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record meets the company’s 14/18‑point standard.
- Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated eligibility requirements.
- Familiar with automotive parts.
- Ability to operate other light store equipment.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
