**** Join us as our new Senior Warehouse Operator
** You'll be responsible for shipping and receiving functions, ensuring materials are shipped accurately and timely, as well as inventory management and material transfers.
** In this role you'll make an impact by:
*** Picking and packing customer orders accurately for timely shipment.
* Planning and coordinating material transfers between multiple warehouses to ensure materials are on-hand to meet production and customer needs.
* Prioritizing safety in all aspects of daily work and performing daily equipment safety checks.
* Ensuring warehouses are kept clean and organized.
* Actively participating in daily performance meetings, focused on continuous improvements in safety, quality, and delivery on time.
* Scheduling and arranging UPS, LTL and truckload shipments using on-line booking platforms.
* Assisting with cycle counts and site inventories.
* Using enterprise planning software (SAP) to create deliveries, post goods, and perform inventory movements.
* Leading problem solving and improvement initiatives.
* Maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are current and continually improved upon.
* Supporting coordination of domestic and international shipments and documentation as needed.
* Ordering and maintaining stock of shipping, office and warehouse supplies.
* Coordinating waste shipments for recycling and disposal.
* Assisting production assembly lines as needed.
** To succeed you must hold:
*** HS diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations and inventory control
* Ability to read, write and speak English
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in multiple units of measure.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and communicate changes accordingly.
* A working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and SAP.
* Physical ability to move about the warehouse and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
