Local HVAC company seeking Project Manager/ Estimator to join their growing 88‑person team! We work on large Commercial, Industrial, Institutional projects.

The Project Manager estimates, designs, bids, and manages construction projects of all sizes and scopes. The Project Manager will be responsible for both design‑build along with plan and spec projects, manage construction projects to ensure timely and profitable completion, develop industry relationships to benefit the ongoing operation of HVAC, Inc, and assist the service department with winning maintenance and service contracts for completed construction projects.

• Deciding which projects to bid with input from the construction manager
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and walk‑throughs
• Responsible for developing and implementing a pre‑bid checklist
• Securing project plans and specifications for estimating and bidding
• Lead generation through developed contacts
• Setting up spreadsheets detailing each bid

• Salary Range $90K+ Plus Commission!

• 3+ Years experience building relationships with contractors and developing key new customers
• Understand the principals of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems as well as airflow and duct design
• Understand how to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Knowledge of systems such as VRF, VAV, Split Systems, Packaged units, DDC Controls, DOAS, ERVs, Kitchen Hoods, hot water and chilled water
• Knowledge of current building, mechanical, and energy codes for Oregon and Washington
• Understanding of Excel, MS Word and Online GC platforms
• Clearly communicate with others both in person and writing
