Vanda Health prides itself on being different. Our community is a hub of activity with a charming layout and gorgeous scenery. We set out to fundamentally rethink senior living. Our community is designed to provide residents with excellent care, a high quality of life, and feelings of belonging, influence, and purpose.
Our residential boutique-style communities, located in Milwaukie, Gresham, St. Johns, and Tigard, provide an environment where residents and employees can thrive.
Care staff are the backbone of the organization and the first, last, and most frequent point of contact with residents each day. The caregiver/med tech assists the resident in maintaining their independence and quality of life by performing tasks and duties to support the resident’s physical and psychological health. Additionally, our care staff promotes the Vanda Health culture by fostering resident engagement and belonging, encouraging individual choice, and creating opportunities where residents can experience purpose and self-fulfillment.
Care staff must have strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and an empathetic understanding of the resident and their history and strengths. The person in this role must be people-oriented, self-directed, and a builder of authentic relationships.
