- Maintain payroll records, direct deposits, tax with holdings, and deductions.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding including background checks, credential verification, and orientation scheduling.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollments, changes, and questions.
- Assist with preparation and submission of claims to Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and self-pay accounts.
- Support internal audits and regulatory surveys by maintaining organized documentation.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as needed.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in payroll, HR, or billing (experience in home health, hospice, or healthcare setting strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with payroll and billing software.
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
