We have an outstanding Contract position for a Production Assembler to join a leading Company located in Milwaukie, OR.

Pay Rate Range: $19 - $20/hr
Schedule: Mon - Thu 6am - 4:30pm

** US Citizenship is required.**

The Electrical Assembler II, under moderate guidance, will perform processes to manufacture a finished product, using small hand tools and soldering skills per manufacturing instructions in the cell, in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. May assist in training Assembler I associates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
  • Conducts inspections of own and/or other associates' work to ensure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawings.
  • Prepares lead wires.
  • Performs advanced test functions.
  • Shapes, connects and installs coils, solders, braze, and fuses connections.
  • Performs advanced installation.
  • Performs the marking and cleaning process.
  • May solder and assemble electro-mechanical or mechanical assemblies/subassemblies using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing instructions to conform to quality specifications.
  • May solder connections and electronic components to circuit boards.
  • May use coating equipment.
  • May read calipers.
  • May use a microscope.
  • May use small hand and electric tools.
  • May clean and mark surfaces to indicate measurements.
  • Ability to be trained to use simple machines such as lathes, drill presses, and balance machines.
  • Actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures.
  • Soldering, Inspection, Mechanical Assembly, Bonding or Gluing, Basic Testing, and other specialized processes as required by manufacturing outlines.
  • Moderate paperwork requirements such as M.O. preparation, test reports, filling out, and maintaining required reports.
  • Performs other assigned duties as required.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2 years of soldering and assembly experience.
  • Must be able to work Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm.
