Order Selector Night Shift

Job Overview Gourmet Foods International seeks a reliable, detail-oriented Order Selector to prepare customer orders for shipping accurately. This position is responsible for selecting, organizing, packing, and preparing products while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining a strong focus on product quality and order accuracy.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

Select, organize, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently

Pack products carefully to prevent damage during shipping

Verify product quality and order accuracy before shipment

Seal, label, and prepare shipping containers for distribution

Move completed orders to the appropriate shipping or staging area Maintain an organized workflow to support timely order fulfillment

Perform basic warehouse and fulfillment duties as needed

Keep workstations stocked, clean, organized, and safe Follow food safety, quality, and warehouse safety procedures

Assist with other warehouse or fulfillment activities as business needs require

Things you need to be able to do:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to follow directions and meet productivity expectations and deadlines

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks

Ability to work in temperatures generally ranging from 50°F to 55°F and enter refrigerated areas as needed

Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods

Ability to wear required safety footwear and personal protective equipment

Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Team Members must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.

Things that are a plus but not a deal-breaker:

Previous warehouse, fulfillment, order selecting, packing, or cold storage experience

High School Diploma or GED Experience working in a food distribution or refrigerated environment

Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems

- Thursday (Sunday 2:00 PM - until finished) (Monday
- Thursday 4:30 PM - until finished)
Availability:

Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Candidates must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet the position’s availability requirements, which may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and/or travel as needed to support business and operational needs.
