Full-time (08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday)
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Start: ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant / LSA to join an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" primary school in Minehead. This full‑time role supports pupils throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom, helping them flourish academically, socially and emotionally within a warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued.

• General Learning Support Assistant / LSA
• Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small‑group basis
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

• Has previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting
• Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service

• A welcoming and supportive staff team who work collaboratively and value one another
• Happy, well‑behaved and friendly pupils who are keen to learn and respond well to routine
• Clear structures and strong, approachable leadership, creating a calm and positive working environment
• A focus on staff wellbeing and development, with opportunities to learn, grow and feel valued
• A strong community and family‑feel, where everyone works together to support every child
• Consistent full‑time hours (08:30‑15:30)
• Competitive daily rate of £90‑£110, depending on experience
