Exam Invigilator

This casual invigilation post sits within the examinations team at West Somerset College, a secondary school and sixth form, and the start is as soon as possible. The work centres on preparing exam rooms, supervising candidates and handling papers in line with JCQ regulations, reporting irregularities to the Exams Officer. • Prepare examination venues and equipment in line with regulations
• Supervise students before, during and after examinations
• Maintain strict examination conditions and comply with JCQ guidelines
• Register candidates and monitor attendance
• Give clear instructions and support to candidates throughout the examination
• Collect and return examination papers and scripts accurately
• Report irregularities, concerns or incidents to the Exams Officer
• Support invigilation of smaller groups, including students with access arrangements where appropriate
