- Master’s Degree, or equivalent, in Speech Language Pathology
- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
- Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist state license (where appropriate)
Provide SLP therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of Speech‑Language Pathology therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Provide quality patient care, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management. Maintain professional conduct that represents Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.
- Optimize communication, cognitive‑linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of patients through direct therapy, supervision, and oversight
- Build a strong SLP therapy program
- Enhance clinical expertise, professional and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other staff, self‑study, and continuing education
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on professional and healthcare issues
- Understand payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines, and provide care within those frameworks
- Comply with infection control procedures and facility safety protocols
- Fluently read, write, speak, and comprehend English for instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
