Responsibilities:

• Serve as subject matter expert on accounting standards and compliance
• Research and document complex accounting transactions and related impacts
• Advise leadership on the accounting implications of business decisions
• Draft technical accounting documentation and support audit requests
• Evaluate and implement new accounting standards as needed
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies and procedures
• Review financial statements and external reporting for accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors during reviews and audits
• Lead or assist with system enhancements and ERP improvements
• Drive process improvement initiatives across accounting operations
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of public accounting experience, with publicly traded clients in the manufacturing sector

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $155,000–$175,000
• Eligible for various benefits, including Medical Insurance

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
