We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established bank that has been consistently growing and evolving. This position specifically supports the Loan Accounting team, where you will work independently within a small, trusted group. While expertise in Loan Accounting is a key qualification sought by the team, there will also be opportunities to participate in other general accounting-related tasks.

Responsibilities:- Maintain records supporting financial products and client activity
- Monitor balances, rates, and transactional accuracy
- Process and reconcile recurring cash activity
- Calculate and update system-driven financial metrics
- Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries
- Ensure transactions post accurately within established guidelines
- Research discrepancies and support issue resolution
- Prepare journal entries to correct identified items
- Reconcile assigned accounts on a recurring basis
- Coordinate with partners to resolve outstanding issues
- Support complex accounting entries and calculations
- Assist with recurring schedules and deliverable timelines
- Respond to audit and third-party information requests
- Participate in projects and system testing efforts
- Recommend and document process improvements
- Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
- Respond to client questions and support issue resolution
- Partner with internal teams on portfolio-related matters
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Loan accounting experience
- CPA (preferred)
- Salary Range: $76,000–$110,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.
This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
