Sallary Range

The minimum salary for the senior accountant position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the senior accountant position is $85,000 annually. Successful candidates may also receive a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program.

About

The Role

As a CBRE և Senior countertops you will be responsible for complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger. This job is part of the Controlling job function, managing the organization’s financial controls and preparing financial reports for management and shareholders.

What You’ll Do
  • Answer escalated questions regarding various accounting issues and reports.
  • Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other accounting statements or financial reports.
  • Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
  • Evaluate complex accounting variances, reports, and records, and make recommendations on reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Maintain, record, and reconcile billings and accounts receivable for large clients, markets, or accounts.
  • Create month‑end accounting entries, reconcile discrepancies, and post to the general ledger.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and verify transactions from subsystems to ensure accurate data transfer.
  • Examine financial statements and documents for conformance with accounting requirements and fundamentals.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of your discipline and a basic understanding of related disciplines.
  • Lead by example, model behaviours aligned with CBRE values, and help reach agreements.
  • Improve the quality of your own work and that of others on the team.
  • Follow standardized procedures and practices to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward terms.
What You’ll Need
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree with 2‑5 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyse potential solutions using technical experience and apply appropriate judgement.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organisational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions and other financial‑related figures.
