Staff Accountant

Location: Onsite in Neuros Medical's Arden Hills, MN office

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant who is looking to transition from public accounting into a dynamic and growing business environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong technical foundation, preferably with CPA-track experience, who is eager to broaden their expertise beyond traditional accounting and gain exposure to the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of a scaling healthcare company.

• Support month-end financial closes.
• Record general ledger entries related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other banking transactions.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and other various general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with board of director meeting material preparation.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of technical accounting memos.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Help establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
• Assist with various accounting projects and tasks as needed by the finance department.

• 3-5 years public accounting experience
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience working with ERP (preferably Net Suite) and Microsoft Office
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Certified public accountant (CPA) license or equivalent preferred

Neuros Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base salary for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 per year. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
