Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a manufacturing organization in Roseville, Minnesota. This position supports day-to-day payables operations and plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, timely vendor payments, and compliance-related filings. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound accounting judgment, and the flexibility to assist with receivables tasks when needed.

Responsibilities:

- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately while ensuring all supporting documentation is complete.

- Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices through three-way matching to confirm payment accuracy.

- Prepare and process scheduled payment runs, including checks and other approved disbursement methods.

- Maintain organized accounts payable records and resolve invoice discrepancies by working with internal teams and vendors.

- Complete year-end 1099 reporting and support required documentation for vendor tax compliance.

- Prepare and file sales and use tax information in accordance with applicable reporting requirements.

- Provide backup assistance for accounts receivable activities to support continuity across the accounting function.

- Use accounting systems and data entry tools to update financial information efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy.
