Responsibilities
  • Research potential corporate, foundation, and government prospects to identify funding opportunities that align with the strategic priorities of the College and its programs.
  • Study guidelines of grant applications and confer with Office staff about approaches to connect with a funder.
  • Assist with reviewing and editing draft proposals, agreements, and reports, providing comments and suggested changes using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft Word.
  • Help draft grant proposals and assemble application packages with all required documentation.
  • Network with other professionals in the broader grant administration community through participation in outside workshops and events.
  • Assist Office staff with the development and management of content on the HUB.
  • Track submissions and reports and input information into institutional databases.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and effectively manage time.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, namely Excel and Word.

Approximate number of work hours per week: 20.
