Emerging Professionals Program Associate – Sales Development Program

Location:

Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a 12‑month rotational program designed to educate and develop emerging professionals. Through on‑the‑job learning, e‑learning, subject matter‑expert training and residency trips you will gain exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, e‑commerce and Sonepar USA’s business philosophy. The program concludes with a presentation to executive leadership on key strategic initiatives.

The program will begin in June 2026.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Enthusiastic, self‑starter attitude
  • Excellent communication, time‑management, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable team player
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (required)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Desire for a career in Sales, Logistics, or Operations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi‑task, be flexible, and adapt to change
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Forklift and stock picker training required
  • Combination of warehouse and office work environments
