AboutThe Role
Midwestern IT Inc. is looking for motivated candidates interested in building a career as a System Business Analyst. Candidates should have an interest in business processes, system analysis, requirement gathering, and communication between business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend process improvements.
- Create process flow diagrams and system workflows.
- Work with development and QA teams to clarify requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and document test scenarios.
- Track requirements, tasks, and defects using JIRA and Confluence.
- Prepare reports and maintain project documentation.
- Requirements gathering and documentation.
- Business process modeling and workflow analysis.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Visio, or similar tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, QA, or a related role is beneficial.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data mapping is a plus.
