• Administer a developmentally and academically appropriate program that meets the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of the students.
• Provide supervision to students at all times; serving as a positive role model.
• Assist the Supervisor with planning, preparing, and implementing activities appropriate for school‑aged children before and after school.
• Assist the supervisor with classroom preparation and maintenance, including setting up, keeping tables, floors, and other surfaces clean, and maintaining order in classroom and shared areas.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere of caring for all staff and children.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of student learning styles and motivating children to engage in learning
• Knowledge of school and district rules, regulations, and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good judgment and decision making
• Prior experience working with children
• High School Diploma/GED
• 16 years old or older
• Background studies required for child‑care settings; this position requires a background study by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and mandatory fingerprinting.

After school hours, 1:30‑5:00 and flexible hours between 7:30am and 4:30pm on non‑school days and summer.

Monday‑Friday, 12 months, year‑round position.

$17.46/hr – $21.79/hr.
