As a Ground Up/Industrial Superintendent at Gardner Builders, you'll be the on‑site lead for construction operations, balancing the details, managing field teams, scheduling, and serving as a point of connection between trade partners, clients, and your internal project team. From the start of a project through closeout, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading and coordinating daily site operations across multiple projects
• Managing schedules, sequencing work, and ensuring progress aligns with project goals
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
• Driving quality by proactively identifying and resolving issues before they become problems
• Communicating with trade partners, field staff, and project managers to ensure alignment
• Hosting weekly foremen meetings to keep everyone informed and on track
• Ordering materials, scheduling inspections, and maintaining accurate records
• Acting as a visible, responsive, and reliable presence on site
• Jumping in as needed to solve problems quickly, professionally, and collaboratively
• Being a role model for safety and hospitality, setting the tone for a positive, productive jobsite culture

You’ll know you’re succeeding when:

• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent building ground‑up/industrial commercial construction projects
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate large, complex sites, including projects with challenging soil conditions and weather impacts
• Hands‑on experience managing precast and steel frame building projects and navigating sitework and logistical challenges
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, trade scopes, and site logistics
• A humble, team‑oriented approach and the ability to manage several tasks at once while keeping a cool head
• Confidence in reading plans, coordinating teams, and adapting to change
• OSHA 30 certification
• Proficiency with scheduling software, construction platforms like Procore, Google tools, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
• Ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record

• Experience with scheduling integrated teams using construction scheduling software
• Deep knowledge of safety protocols and permitting processes
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and a calm presence when things get tough
