Location: Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing events that align with our company’s mission and vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and management, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute a variety of events from start to finish, including conferences, workshops, and social gatherings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine event objectives and ensure alignment with company strategy
  • Manage budgets, ensuring expenses fall within guidelines while seeking opportunities for cost savings
  • Secure venues, vendors, and speakers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with all agreements
  • Develop event marketing strategies and promotional materials to drive attendance and engagement
  • Collect and analyze feedback post-event to improve future planning and execution processes
  • Create detailed timelines and checklists to keep projects on track and stakeholders informed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably 3+ years
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proficient in using event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
