Seeking an Assistant Editor for a character-driven independent feature film, requiring approximately 3 weeks of work starting in late September 2026, paying $300-500/day. This is a unique drama, rich with psychological tension and dark humor, exploring themes of isolation and unexpected connection in a small-town setting. We're looking for someone organized and detail-oriented to join our small, collaborative post-production team in Minneapolis.
Your primary responsibilities will include ingesting and organizing footage, creating dailies, syncing audio, managing project files, preparing sequences for the lead editor, and assisting with various post-production tasks as needed. Candidates should be proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and possess strong organizational skills. While no specific gear is required, experience with a similar indie film workflow is a plus.
