VIP Counselor

Overview

VIP Travel Counselor (180002H7) is responsible for creating domestic and international travel arrangements for clients, including air, hotel, and ground transportation. International travel arrangements should comprise 50% of total bookings. You delight travelers, listen and lead conversations to solve problems, build credibility for CWT, and act as a trusted advisor.

• Build credibility and loyalty to CWT by delivering consistent service worldwide and aligning with each client's travel policy.
• Provide informed and insightful recommendations to enhance the traveler experience.
• Sell products that are of commercial value to CWT and contribute to profitability.
• Operate with discretion for clients and travel arrangers.
• Follow company procedures, guidelines and standards; stay current on the value provided to customers.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with other employees to promote a harmonious climate.
• Adapt to changing business requirements and embrace new technology and ways of working.
• Represent and strengthen the CWT brand in day-to-day work.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to create international travel arrangements including air, hotel, and ground transportation (multi-segment/multi-destination).
• Industry knowledge and travel reservation skills to create multi-segment, multi-destination international itineraries.
• Complete knowledge of international travel requirements including documentation and immunization requirements.
• Skilled with Sabre GDS.
• 2-3 years’ experience in the travel industry in a VIP position.
• Ability to meet and maintain required performance and productivity standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to promote and embrace a team culture.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Avaya phone system, Moxie, and Power Express is a plus.
