Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support consumer inquiries for a wholesale distribution organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can manage customer interactions across phone, email, and mail channels. In this role, you will help resolve service concerns, document case details accurately, and coordinate timely follow-up for both routine and high-priority requests.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to incoming customer calls during assigned business hours and provide courteous, solution-focused assistance.

- Enter and update customer information, service details, and case activity accurately in the company's tracking system.

- Manage written correspondence related to customer contacts, including letters and physical coupon fulfillment.

- Coordinate retrieval requests for select consumer issues, including arranging expedited shipping for time-sensitive items when needed.

- Handle email inquiries promptly and ensure each request is routed or resolved with appropriate follow-up.

- Support complaint resolution by gathering necessary details, documenting outcomes, and helping de-escalate sensitive situations.

- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and service materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Work across internal teams to help move consumer requests forward and keep projects or case actions on schedule. Requirements - Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar consumer-facing role.

- Working knowledge of CRM systems and the ability to learn new data entry platforms quickly.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for phone, email, and mailed correspondence.

- Experience handling mail processing or administrative follow-up related to customer requests.

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage difficult conversations with professionalism.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Talent Match®
