We are seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible Pediatric Dermatologists to build and lead a high‑volume outpatient program. The ideal candidate has specialized training in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions in infants, children and adolescents. Responsibilities include compassionate, evidence‑based care, inpatient consultation, teaching, research and frequent pediatric dermatologic surgery at an ambulatory surgery center or hospital locations.

• Clinical Care:
  • Diagnose and treat atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, vascular anomalies, genetic skin disorders and cutaneous infections.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures and develop individualized treatment plans (topical, oral, light‑based therapies).
  • Conduct minor procedures (cryosurgery, laser therapy, minor excisions).
  • Provide expert consultation for hospitalized patients.
• Patient and Family Communication:
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options and long‑term management in a clear, age‑appropriate, sensitive manner.
  • Foster a trusting and supportive environment for young patients and caregivers.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with pediatricians, specialists (geneticists, hematologists/oncologists, rheumatologists) and nurses.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
• Education and Research (Optional):
  • Supervise residents and medical students rotating through the dermatology clinic.
  • Engage in clinical research, publish findings and present at national and international conferences.
  • Stay current with advances in pediatric dermatology through CME and professional development.

• M.D., D.O. or equivalent.
• Board BE/BC in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics).
• Board BE/BC in Pediatric Dermatology or related subspecialty (if applicable).
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology (or equivalent).
• Medical licensure in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 90 days.

• Clinical competency in caring for hospitalized children.
• Strong diagnostic methodology and use of advanced dermatologic devices.
• In‑depth knowledge of medications, side effects and contraindications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Responsible, trustworthy and team‑player.

Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, manual dexterity for procedures and overnight on‑call duties.

Competitive base salary based on market data and individual qualifications. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement and other fringe benefits. Night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differential or premium pay.
