The Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery certified/eligible sleep surgeon at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank on the academic or clinician track (track to be determined by qualification and interest).

Practice

This individual will join the Otolaryngology team at the University of Minnesota, which currently includes broad sub-specialty expertise in all areas of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The physician in this position will have the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of management for sleep apnea, snoring and related disorders. Practice settings will include both tertiary and community sites. In addition, the candidate will be heavily involved in educational and research missions.

Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates must have an MD/DO degree or equivalent, and be board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology.
  • Candidates must have completed a fellowship in sleep surgery and preferably be board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology-Sleep Medicine.
  • He/She/They must be eligible for licensure in the State of Minnesota, and be eligible to work in the United States.

  • The University Of Minnesota Department Of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery has more than 120 years of history of treating patients, conducting research, and educating the next generation of otolaryngologists. The department is home to more than 50 physicians providing the latest in patient care through the University of Minnesota Physicians – our clinical practice made up of more than 700 university doctors.

    Our physicians diagnose and treat a variety of ear, nose and throat problems – from the most common to the most complex. Most have special training or conduct research in an area of expertise.
