Hennepin Healthcare seeks a part-time (.5 FTE) Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatry department. Physicians employed at this level are eligible for full medical/dental benefits as well as prorated additional benefits—such as PTO, Academic Leave, and an annual business expense account.

p>This position will include providing coverage for Psychiatry providers in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including but not limited to the consult‑liaison service, the Partial Hospital Program, the Mother‑Baby program, and inpatient units.

Responsibilities ul> li>Diagnose and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. li>Determine the nature and extent of mental disorders, and formulate treatment programs utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. li>Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health as their primary diagnosis, as well as individuals suffering from a secondary mental health disturbance or illness. li>Collaborate, educate, and instruct other doctors on the physical health that might impact the mental health of their patients.
/ul> p>This position will be Monday‑Friday days with call coverage of six to eight 24‑hour periods per year.
