Join Our Team as an Outpatient Psychiatry Physician!

The University of Minnesota is seeking a passionate and dedicated Outpatient Psychiatry Physician to join our esteemed Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to blend clinical care with academic responsibilities, focusing on interventional psychiatry for treatment-resistant depression.

As a member of our team, you will provide 0.9 FTE outpatient clinical care and engage in 0.1 FTE academic duties , including teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help expand our clinical programs and supervise trainees in a supportive environment.

• Deliver professional psychiatric outpatient services in St. Louis Park, MN.
• Evaluate and treat patients with Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) using innovative modalities such as TMS, ECT, VNS, ketamine, and psychedelics.
• Collaborate with the outpatient team to provide evidence-based services.
• Engage in academic activities, including publishing, mentoring, and quality improvement projects.
• Lead by example to foster a positive work environment that values teamwork and excellence.

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry training program.
• Demonstrated knowledge and training in clinical interventional psychiatry.
• Board eligible/certified with the ABMS.
• Ability to obtain a medical license and DEA in Minnesota.
• Eligibility for work authorization in the U.S.
