Locum Jobs Online  is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Interventional Radiology MD in Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55422!

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Vascular/Interventional Radiology for a 120-day assignment in Minnesota, with an anticipated start upon credentialing. This role involves 8a-5p hospital coverage with overnight pager call, ideally committing a minimum of two weeks per month. The physician will handle general interventional radiology cases, including cerebral embolectomies, provide moderate sedation, and work within a trauma and thrombectomy-capable stroke center, focusing solely on interventional radiology coverage without diagnostic reads.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 8a-5p hospital coverage and overnight pager call
• Manage an average of 10 cases per day on weekdays and 6 cases per day on weekends
• Perform general interventional radiology procedures, including cerebral embolectomies (excluding aneurysm management)
• Administer moderate sedation as required
• Focus exclusively on interventional radiology coverage, without diagnostic reads
• Contribute to a trauma and thrombectomy-capable stroke center environment
