Art Center - Special Interest Instructor

Overview

The City of Edina is currently seeking applications for the Children's Art Instructor position for pre-school art classes at Edina Art Center. This position will work on Fridays year round and possibly other hours as available.

Please submit images of your past art pieces to artcenter in addition to your application.

• Develop classes and/or workshops that advance the goals of the Edina Art Center as an organization that meets community needs
• Demonstrate the ability to teach child and adult learners
• Demonstrate techniques and artistic skills to successfully teach classes
• Work as a part of a team of instructors and staff to support the arts in Edina and surrounding communities

• Previous teaching experience

Lift and carry supplies - up to 10 pounds, daily.
