Job SummaryTo inspire and prepare each and every scholar with confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to the community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide classroom instruction in multiple classrooms, make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies, implement the goals and objectives of the district and school/program, maintain contact and communication with teachers, staff, school, district leaders, and guardians/caregivers when applicable, deliver and assess curriculum according to district guidelines, follow system policies concerning scholar conduct and discipline, work collaboratively, and will participate in district, building, and department leadership activities.
PositionDetails
This continuous substitute position will be at Zanewood Community School, with the possibility to be moved to another site if no substitute positions are open at Zanewood that day. Your assigned building may change through the year based on system needs.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MN teaching license in elementary education.
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 2.
Salary: $35.00 hourly
Work schedule: Minimum contract day (see Continuous Sub MOU above)
Temporary Assignment: Position will end on June 5, 2026 (last day of school for students)
Desired start date: as soon as possible
