Job Responsibilities
- Assist incoming first-year students in their transition to college life by providing mentorship, programming, and opportunities to engage with other Premier Scholars.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in leading workshops, activities, and events during the summer component of the program and throughout the academic year.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to Premier Team Leaders and students in the Premier Scholars Program.
- Attend all required spring 2026 paraprofessional training sessions. Details of sessions will be provided by supervisor.
- Meet on an agreed upon schedule with supervisor throughout summer 2026 to assist in the planning and execution of the Premier Scholars Program.
- Assist with the summer 2026 Premier Team staff training.
- Assist in the oversight and support the Premier Team staff to help build a strong team dynamic.
- Maintain cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above.
- Maintain a good student standing in terms of on and off-campus conduct.
- Confirmed plans for continued enrollment as a full-time student at North Central College for the academic year.
- Show and articulate an appreciation of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrate excellent social and communication skills.
- Ability to work in, contribute to, and lead a team-oriented environment.
- Genuine concern for incoming students’ transition to the North Central College community and sense of belonging.
- Must have previously served as a Premier Team Leader.

Up to 40 hours per week when classes are not in session, 5 hours per week when classes are in session
