Hiring:
Field-Based Robotics Application Engineer – Minneapolis, MN
Compensation: $90K-$125K (Experience Based)
A cutting-edge robotics company is looking for a Field-Based Robotics Application Engineer to support customers across the Upper Midwest. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-sales technical support, including on-site product demos and customer consultations
Act as the primary technical contact during the sales process, addressing questions and objections
Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations based on customer specs
Collaborate with sales teams to align solutions with customer needs
Provide technical insights to assist in deal negotiations and closings
Troubleshoot systems and provide field-based support post-sale
Travel frequently to customer sites across the western U.S. and Mexico
Program and integrate automation systems, with knowledge of PLCs and robotics platforms
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Represent the brand with professionalism and strong customer presence
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
4+ years of experience in automation or robotics in a customer-facing, field-based role
Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff, AB), Python/C programming, and system integration
Spanish language skills are a plus
Location: Based in Minneapolis (remote) with frequent travel
