Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the Minneapolis market.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated responses.
- Calculate heat loss/heat gain requirements for buildings.
- Layout of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software.
- Coordinate system design with other trades.
- Assist with jobsite meetings as needed.
- Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Create and maintain customer relationships.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- 3+ years of experience in MEP.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT software.
