Associate Project Engineer

At Aspen Tech, we empower a culture of curiosity and relentless innovation. The Electrical Engineer – Entry Level (On‑site/Hybrid) role focuses on designing and implementing DGM’s control systems while delivering superior customer support.

In this position, you will design and deliver DGM's control systems and provide ongoing customer support to ensure reliable performance and world‑class customer satisfaction.

• Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
• Perform installation, integration, and testing of the hardware, software and system.
• Own troubleshooting efforts for discovered variances and deploy resolutions in a timely manner.
• Define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments, as necessary.
• Work as the primary systems engineer responsible for deploying complex and dynamic control systems.
• Provide networking and system/application design.
• Customize system, hardware and network configuration based on customer requirements.
• Provide customer support and assistance per contract maintenance and warranty.
• Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field and internship experience required.
• Basic knowledge of computer programming; introduction to C programming at minimum.
• Basic knowledge of computer architectures, networking, databases, and operating systems.

• Ability and flexibility to travel up to 20% domestic and international customer sites.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast‑paced environment.

The salary range for this role is $64,200.00 – $80,200.00. This range represents the base compensation range at the time of posting; it may be modified in the future. The role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay and includes a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
